The Leisure sector provides a tremendous variety of projects, and we have worked throughout the UK and overseas, representing a varied and exciting body of work. From race courses, polo grounds, and leisure centres, to community woodlands, camping sites, green way networks and country parks, we provide sustainable design solutions which link people with their environment.
Site design often needs to respond to environmental or ecological constraints, pollution controls and sometimes extreme climatic conditions as well as the specific needs of each project and client. In this we combine our assessment and design skills to generate the best outdoor environments for all users.
New features designed for these schemes include small arboreta, sculpture trails, labyrinths, viewing platforms, large picnic and play areas, bespoke seating, shelters and performance spaces. We have considerable experience in commissioning art and sculpture to compliment the design strategy whilst taking cues from the site itself.
